You may be wondering what jiu jitsu is, looking for a new gym, starting back up after years off, hoping your kids can learn a lifelong skill, or trying to better yourself. Regardless, we are confident you will enjoy your time here at Flow State and will come to realize what truly sets us apart.

What Makes Us Unique:

• Free week trial – so you can get plenty of exposure before signing up.
• No long-term contracts – don’t feel obligated to stay when life situationschange. We just ask for a courtesy 30 day cancellation notice.

• Buy a GI, get first month free – when you sign up, if you purchase one of our GIs you will get your first month tuition free. This helps offset start-up cost.

• Never charge for promotions – many gyms charge members for beltpromotions, here at Flow State it is a part of your membership!

• Unlimited attendance – come and go as much as you want!

• Variety of classes – from morning classes and noon rolls to MMA, kids class and more, there are a variety of classes for everyone.

• Adults and kids open mat – On Saturdays at 8am, we offer an open mat that is half kids half adults. Which is often difficult to find in other gyms!

• Family Class – train with your family together on Saturdays at 10am, since most weekday classes are separated by age we created a class where parents and kids can train together!

One of the first things you will notice about our gym is how focused on the community and family we are. It’s the very core of our gym and it’s what truly made us fall in love with jiu jitsu.

We pride ourselves on the kids program that has grown here, with over 100 kids enrolled, there are students at every level. The motto is discipline, respect, and teamwork. Kids in our program are expected to uphold these values within the gym, at home, in school, or around the community. If they don’t they will not be promoted to a higher rank until their behavior has changed.

Every summer we offer a jiu jitsu camp for kids 8 years and older, with 4-5 hours of jiu jitsu each day, chess each morning, a cardio hour, and activities promoting mental toughness. It’s a great time where the kids work super hard, but also get to have a blast alongside friends. We host this camp for 2 weeks usually in June but offer a single week or two week price.

Flow State Jiu Jitsu is owned by John and Jessica Keil, their journey into jiu jitsu was led by their children who started training first. After joining flowstate, they instantly fell in love with the community and started training themselves. When founders Chad and Jade Myers wanted to sell the gym, they found themselves with the opportunity to purchase and help their friends chase new dreams.

Operating since 2024, they strive to provide not only members, but themselves with the best possible coaching and jiu jitsu experience where everyone feels welcome no matter their level.

When it comes to teaching we are always trying to improve and keep up with the most modern coaching techniques. When you attend a Flow State class you will typically warm up with low impact positional training based off the position of the week, followed by 30 min of instruction/drilling, jump back into live positional training/games, and finish with live rolls. After the adult class there is always more live training for 30+ minutes as well.

Depending on the class you could have blue, purple, brown, and black belts coaching. This gives you as the student a wide variety of perspectives on jiu jitsu.
